This Introduction to Tantra workshop is facilitated by James Kinghorn of Maya Rituals.

James is an ISTA trained Tantra Facilitator, holding space for people to explore their authentic desires with confidence through events such as cacao ceremonies, tantra temples and healing mud baths.

James loves life and all gifts from mother nature.

Dancing, moving, shaking and connecting with his inner child in nature makes him feel alive

He takes pleasure in holding spaces that are dynamic, playful and unique. Sharing is caring.

What to expect

Rooted in the idea that authentic connection starts with self-awareness, this experience offers a chance to meet yourself more honestly—so that any connection with others becomes deeper, clearer, and more intentional.

Guided by James, you’ll explore the origins of tantra and how its principles show up in modern spaces—including those familiar to kink and conscious intimacy communities. Together, we’ll touch on boundaries, consent, desire, and the edges of vulnerability—essential tools for any meaningful exploration.

From there, we’ll ease into a playful taster of neo-tantric practices. Expect gentle, interactive exercises including:

  • movement
  • breath
  • light touch
  • conscious connection practices
  • eye-gazing meditation
  • space to notice what arises in your body and awareness
  • grounded sharing circle

You’ll then be invited to wind down, connect and socialise with the group over some delicious vegan food.

This workshop is perfect for the tantra-curious, especially those from kink spaces who want to explore connection, energy, and presence in a slower, more mindful way—without pressure or performance.

🌈 This is a fully inclusive space. You’re invited to show up exactly as you are. All genders, orientations, identities, backgrounds, and expressions are warmly welcomed.

This workshop will take place in the Sub in the City Studio in Bournemouth, BH1. Full address confirmed upon booking.
